Police need help in search of missing man

The family has searched hospitals and police stations for the 43-year-old man, with no luck.

A Mamelodi East family is desperately looking for a loved relative who disappeared on January 29.

The sister said Nyathi Petrus Sithole (43) had last been seen at his home in Ext. 12 the evening before he went missing.

He was wearing a white T-shirt, Khakhi shorts and black shoes.

Police spokesperson Constable Penelope Khulong said sister Elizabeth Sithole was with her brother the day before his disappearance.

She said when she returned from work, the following day, she was informed that her brother left home around 08:00 and had not returned.

“She further contacted other family members to ask about the whereabouts of her brother, but no one had seen him,” said Khulong.

The family has searched almost everywhere for the missing brother, including hospitals and police stations.

Khulong said police have opened a case of a missing person and have already started the investigations.

Anyone with information about Sithole’s whereabouts should contact his sister Elizabeth on 079 582 0430, Mamelodi East police on 012 815 7079 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
