Residents of Arcadia are warned of road closures near the Loftus Versfeld stadium ahead of a soccer match that will take place later today.
The Tshwane metro police (TMPD) issued this warning ahead of the soccer match between Mamelodi Sundowns and SuperSport United that will take place at 19:30 on March 12.
According to TMPD spokesperson Senior Superintendent Isaac Mahamba, the streets around the stadium are expected to be closed from 15:00 until 23:00.
Mahamba urged motorists not to use the following streets:
– Park Street and Kirkness Street
– Kirkness Street and Lynnwood Road
– Farenden Street and Bond Street
– Park Street and Farenden Street
– Francis Baard Street
– Pretorius Street
– Stanza Bopape Street
– Justice Mahomed Street
– Florence Ribeiro Avenue
– Middel Street
– Jan Shoba Street
– Leyds Street
To monitor all affected streets, metro police and SAPS will be deployed.
