A man died in a motorcycle crash on the N1 in Pretoria on Monday.
Spokesperson Kyle van Reenen of paramedic firm Emer-G-Med said: “Emer-G-Med paramedics responded to the N1 before the R101 for a motorcycle crash”.
According to Van Reenen, the rider sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead on the scene.
Earlier this month, a woman also lost her life when she rolled her vehicle on the same highway near the Rigel Avenue offramp in Waterkloof Ridge.
At the time, Van Reenen told Rekord when paramedics arrived at around 20:30, the vehicle had rolled over on the N1 North at the Rigel Avenue offramp.
The cause of the accident remains unknown.
