Tshwane call centre offline

Residents are advised to log in on the municipal website for their account statements.

Tshwane residents are advised to use the e-Tshwane website to view their account statements, capture meter readings and log requests for different services.

This is after the municipal call centre went offline on Tuesday morning.

Metro spokesperson Lindela Mashigo expressed the municipality’s apologies to residents for the inconvenience caused.

“Tshwane would like to apologise to customers who cannot get through to our call centre on 012 358 9999. The city is fully aware of the situation and a dedicated team of technicians is working on restoring the lines as well as email service,” he said.

He said all power failures should be reported by SMS with the word “power” followed by the account number to 082 612 0333 or 44676.

Alternatively, customers can visit their nearest customer centre.

“The city apologises for the inconvenience caused by this unforeseen service interruption.”
