Police need help in finding man with information to R4-Million Centurion crime

An unknown man is believed to have information about R4 million crime.

Police are looking for a man who could assist with information in a R4-million fraud case registered at Lyttelton police station.

According to spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi, provincial police were at the helm of investigations in pursuit of this man.

“The complainant in the case has told police that she procured the services of a construction company to build a house on behalf of her company based in Mokopane. Her company then paid the construction company over R4 million, but the service purchased was never rendered.”

She said the man could hopefully assist the police to track down the owner of the construction company who vanished after receiving payment.

“Callers may remain anonymous,” said Nevhuhulwi.

Anyone with information may contact the investigating officer, Sergeant Precious Maripane, on 076 567 8627 or 012 644 8600, or call the SAPS Crime Stop number on 08600 10111.
