Mams police search for missing man

The man told his sister he was going to visit his son in Moretele View on Friday.

Police are investigating a missing person’s case following the disappearance of Koketso Legoabe (35) of Mamelodi West, Section U.

Police spokesperson, Sergeant Daphny Maila said Legoabe was last seen by his sister on September 29.

He told her he was going to see his two-year-old son at Moretele View, Mamelodi West.

The siblings live together.

“Kedibone Nkabinde noticed three days later, that her brother had not returned home and reported him missing on October 10,” said Maila.

Nkabinde said she had been to Moretele View and was told they had only returned from visiting family in Mabopane so if her brother arrived, they would not know.

She said she also asked everyone she could about his whereabouts and visited the local hospital as well as the mortuary with no luck.

“The baby mama said she and her son had visited Mabopane,” said Nkabinde.

Nobody knows what the brother was wearing when he disappeared.

Nkabinde said this was the first time her brother had disappeared and pleaded with him to please come back home.

Anyone with information that can assist in locating Legoabe must please contact Nkabinde on 081 217 1466, police on 08600 10 111 or 112 – free from all networks or Detective Mkhonoane on 079 219 1061.
