Here are this week’s new movie releases at Nu Metro in Pretoria.

Nu Metro cinemas in Pretoria have a new thriller from our own shores as well as a new horror movie opening in their cinemas this week.

Get your action fix with a local cast in Indemnity and, Friday the 13th was also the day for the new horror-thriller based on Stephen King’s best-seller, Firestarter. There’s great entertainment for everyone to enjoy at Nu Metro!

Marvel Studios’ new superhero blockbuster, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, shot to the top of the box office charts in SA and around the world this past weekend. Go see it on the Nu Metro BIG SCREEN now, including Menlyn Park’s multi-sensory 4DX and larger-than-life Xtreme cinemas.

Supernatural horror movie fans, listen up: Firestarter, the new adaptation of Stephen King’s best-selling thriller, from the producers of The Invisible Man, tells the story of a girl with extraordinary pyro-kinetic powers who fights to protect her family and herself from sinister forces that seek to capture and control her. For more than a decade, her parents Andy and Vicky have been on the run, desperate to hide their daughter, Charlie from a shadowy federal agency that wants to harness her unprecedented gift for turning fire into a weapon of mass destruction.

INDEMNITY (13 DLV)

A traumatised ex-firefighter in Cape Town wakes up next to his wife’s murdered corpse, with no recollection of what transpired. Labelled as the prime suspect, he goes on the run and is soon hunted by a notorious police chief, and an unknown third party. He must now fight for his life and find out who killed his wife before a conspiracy changes the course of a nation forever.
