Denzel Washington returns to Nu Metro cinemas in Pretoria this week as the director of the true-life drama, A Journal For Jordan, about a soldier (Michael B Jordan) in Iraq penning a journal of love for the infant son he’ll never meet.

There’s also Shattered – a gripping new thriller for you to enjoy on the Big Screen from Friday.

The 48-year-old soldier was killed in Baghdad, one month shy of finishing his tour of duty. He left for the Middle East before his son was born.
