Driver killed in east shooting
The shooting happened on N4 between R515 and Donkerhoek off-ramp.
A person was killed following a shooting on the N4, east of Pretoria, on Tuesday morning.
Emer-G-Med spokesperson Kyle van Reenen said the shooting happened on the N4 between the R515 and Donkerhoek off-ramp.
“Upon arrival, we found that three people were injured.
A passenger was treated for gunshot wounds before being taken to a nearby facility for further treatment.
The driver was declared dead on arrival,” he said.
The third person only suffered minor injuries. Van Reenen said part of the road was closed. Boschkop police confirmed the shooting, but could not provide further details.
