Church minister calls on Tshwane residents to not fear the coronavirus

“Let’s protect one another, vaccinate, practice health protocols and conquer the pandemic,” says church minister.

Minister of the 3C Ministries Sfiso Msiza has called on Pretoria residents to refrain from fearing the Covid-19 virus but face and fight against it.

“Let us not be afraid because fear makes us end up believing fake news, have a lot of doubts and finding ourselves under severe threat,” Msiza told Rekord.

He said people should believe they will come out of the coronavirus-era stronger.

“God is with us. He will never leave us nor forsake us.”

He said people should be strong and courageous.

“Let’s protect one another, vaccinate, practice health protocol and conquer the pandemic.”

Msiza urged residents not to contribute to the spread of fake news and stay informed with verified information from reliable sources.

He also urged business owners not to close their businesses out of fear but only when the government instructs them to do so.

“Everybody should pray for a strength to overcome fear and for the Tshwane residents, the entire nation and the world to win the battle against the pandemic.”

The 3C Ministries are currently praying and showing support and appreciation to the police for continued work of serving the community members without fear during this pandemic.

“We support and appreciate the police for going the extra mile to keep our people away from harm.”

He said their aim was to encourage the police to continue standing firm when executing their assignments, which are to serve and protecting the city, to stand for the truth and justice and to persevere in this time of the pandemic.

“We are proud of our police.”

Speaking on behalf of Wonderboompoort police station commander Lieutenant Colonel Dinah Tabane and police spokesperson Constable Mandlakayise Zwane said they value and appreciate the support from the Christian community.

“Divine intervention is always appreciated especially when keeping in mind the dangerous conditions that police officers face daily.”

He said having the 3C Ministries praying for the well-being and survival of the police would always be highly appreciated.
