Centurion Mall launches ‘Clean Up’ initiative

The mall wants to encourage other business nearby to get involved in similar campaigns to help drive the personal well-being of the community and to assist in building a safer and cleaner environment.

Centurion Mall and management implemented a “Clean Up” initiative earlier this week to boost safety, security and cleanliness for the mall and surroundings.

The clean-up will be held regularly and will help to ensure positive perceptions for those visiting the mall.

Centurion Mall management said the mall wants to encourage other business nearby to get involved in similar campaigns to help drive the personal well-being of the community and to assist in building a safer and cleaner environment.

Here are some helpful tips to make a positive impact:

– Pick up litter every day within your radius.

– Keep a litter bag in your car.

– Conduct a recycling drive in your neighbourhood or your business.

– Ask local businesses to adopt-a-spot and take care of it.

– Work with local civic groups to identify and eliminate eyesores, and beautify the local environment.

– Encourage other businesses to recycle.

– Report illegal dumping or incessant littering by businesses or individuals.
