What’s cooking at Steyn’s Culinary School?

Guests attending the evening receive a gourmet burger, prepared by the students, a craft beer and are treated to a live music show.

Burgers Beers & Bands, hosted by Steyn’s Culinary School was started by Chef Maritha Steyn and her son Herman, to give the students an opportunity to practically implement what they have learned, as well as to give musicians a platform to perform.

Burgers Beers & Bands takes place once a month during the summer months in the lovely courtyard at Steyn’s Culinary School.

Guests attending the evening receive a gourmet burger, prepared by the students, a craft beer and are treated to a live music show.

This past weekend at Burgers Beers & Bands, the entertainment was provided by Ghoema-nominated instrumental duo DECA, Herman Steyn (violin) and Douw Steyn (guitar). They have released four albums to date and have performed at various corporate events, weddings and public shows.
