Royal Schools Queens Private achieved a 94 percent pass rate for the matric class of 2018.

The school achieved a 44% bachelor’s degree pass.

The top three learners were:

Daniel Njini who achieved 46 percent for Afrikaans, 65 percent English, 71 percent computer application technology, 78 percent life orientation, 79 percent life sciences, 71 percent maths and 65 percent for physical science.

Njini wants to become a software engineer and start a business one day.

“My hobbies include learning, coding, playing games and soccer,” he said.

Koketso Tjane scored 56 percent for Afrikaans, 57 percent English, 63 percent accounting, 74 percent life orientation, 78 percent for life science, 65 percent maths and 69 percent for physical science.

He wants to study computer science at the University of Johannesburg.

“When I’m done with that I want a degree in chartered accounting (sic) and eventually, have my own accounting firm,” he said.

His hobbies include soccer, writing music and improving his vocabulary.

Musevenkosi Vena achieved 51 percent for Afrikaans, 59 percent English, 67 percent geography, 70 percent life orientation, 73 percent life sciences, 71 percent maths and 70 percent physical Science.

Vena wants to be a specialist cardiothoracic surgeon.

During his spare time, he enjoys studying and reading.
