The Hoërskool Oos-Moot class of 2018 once again achieved great results.
The school achieved a total of 278 A-symbol passes.
One learner achieved eight distinctions, while three others got seven each.
Four learners achieved six distinctions and seven five each.
Five learners got four distinctions, while 12 scored three each and 31 received two distinctions and 72 one each.
“Learners of the school achieved excellent individual achievements,” the school said.
The top learner at the school was Danelle Botha, who achieved an average of 90.6 percent.
She got eight distinctions for Afrikaans home language, English first additional language, mathematics, life orientation, engineering graphics and design, life sciences, physical science and alpha mathematics.
Kaylee Boyens scored seven distinctions for Afrikaans home language, English first additional language, life orientation, mathematics, geography, life sciences and physical sciences.
Annika du Preez also achieved seven distinctions in Afrikaans home language, English first additional language, life orientation, life sciences, physical sciences and consumer studies.
Ilona Ferreira got distinctions in Afrikaans home language, English first additional language, life orientation, life sciences, physical sciences and economics.
Learners excitedly collected their results earlier this month as they readied for their new adventure.
