Laerskool Lindopark Primary School held their Valedictory for the grade 7-learners on 9 November 2018.
Amongst guests invited was Nomzamo Mbatha as guest speaker, sharing a very relevant topic to the youth about their ambitions in life – “The future is in your hand, it’s all possible if you put your mind to it and avoid distraction”.
As a brand ambassador for Puma and Dove, she arranged that the Top 10 achievers receive hampers from Dove and the Top Three were awarded Puma Active gear.
It has become a tradition of the school to have this event and the spin-off has been a significant improvement on the school’s results.
The ceremony was opened by Mr Willem Engelbrecht.
The School Principal, Mr Van Reenen, gave a word of appreciation from the school and on behalf of parents in attendance.
We hope to make this event bigger and better in the future, with annual support from ambassadors like Nomzamo and sponsors.
