SCHOOL: Assumption Convent water day

As a thank you to our learners for their dedication in helping to make the Big Walk a success, we had a Water Fun Day on 26 October.

Water, bubbles and giggles galore! Hard work pays off at Assumption Convent Primary School.

As a thank you to our learners for their dedication in helping to make the Big Walk a success, we had a Water Fun Day on 26 October.

It was the perfect way to relax in the October-heat! Our Grade 7 learners tried their hands at entrepreneurial ventures and surprised even the teachers with their creative ideas for money-making.

From wheelbarrow rides around the school ground to hoverboard rides, popcorn and other edible goodies were enjoyed by the learners and teacher alike.

A variety of waterslides and jumping castles were available to enjoy.
Learners enjoyed spraying each other with water guns. Here Omphile Raphuthi was captured in action.
Learners line up to have their faces painted by Phuti Senyeka (left) and Onthatile Tisane (right).
