The police are still hunting for a motorist who “knocked over and killed a 29-year-old motorcyclist” on the N4 in May.
Police spokesperson Captain Jan Sepato said Jean Goosen and a friend were riding near the N4/N1 intersection when he was hit by a car assumed to be white.

Sepato said it was yet impossible to trace the vehicle based on its colour alone.
“Forensics found white paint on the bike but no other information,” he said adding the traffic camera that could have captured the accident was not working on the day.
“The others were facing the opposite direction.”
Sepato said the friend had told the police that Goosen had overtaken some cars before he found him lying on the ground.

He said the incident occurred on Saturday 26 May between 17:45 and 18:00.
“The police appeal to anyone with information to come forward.”
