Maragon Olympus turned 20! The staff, learners and parents celebrated the school’s 20th birthday this week.
The celebrations started with a family worship event, with a turnout that surprised everyone. From there, the learners participated in a treasure hunt, finding answers about the school’s history that were hidden everywhere.
Meanwhile, the Grade 6s prepared for their market day where they sold all sorts of items to feed and entertain the hunters.
The big excitement, however, was the colour fest on the field, which everyone was looking forward to. Everybody gathered on the number 20 where they threw navy and yellow powder paint into the air. The cheerleaders entertained the crowd and lead the school in a flash mob. To top it all off, everyone received a cupcake. Truly, a day to remember.
