SCHOOL: Eastside Pre-Primary and Primary School hosts Mandela Day Drive

They collected cans of Nan 1 infant formula milk powder for a ‘NANDELA Day Collection’ to last the babies at the Muphamuzi baby home until almost the end of the year.

The Eastside Pre-Primary and Primary School recently participated in a Mandela Day drive with a difference.

They collected cans of Nan 1 infant formula milk powder for a ‘NANDELA Day Collection’ to last the babies at the Muphamuzi baby home until almost the end of the year.

This home in Pretoria cares for babies who are orphaned, abandoned and vulnerable between the age of 0-5 months.

The home gets to love, care and provide for these little ones until their “forever family” is found.

Andre and Karlien de Wit, from Muphamuzi baby home rewarded, the class which collected the most Nan with a pizza party.

Andre and Karlien said they are always in need of baby blankets, toiletries, formula milk and Avent baby bottles.
