Local learners will represent South Africa in the National Archery in the Schools Programme world challenge in Calgary, Canada from 9 to 11 July.
Team SA is made up of 16 archers from Grade 4 to 12, four of whom are from Wierda Independent School in Centurion.
Though archery is the main sport at the school, it was still a phenomenal achievement for a school with only 140 learners from Grade 4 upward.
