SCHOOL: Maragon Olympus rugby player at Craven Week

Just as school closed, he was off to a Blue Bulls training camp.

It has been a busy holiday for Alexander Gouws of Maragon Olympus.

As a recently selected member of the Blue Bulls u/13 team, he was looking forward to the all-important Craven Week ahead.

Just as school closed, he was off to a Blue Bulls training camp in preparation for the important games, the first of which they won 14 – 12 against Boland.

Alexander even scored.

For the rest of the week, the Bulls beat the Valke 28 – 10 and the Lions 17 – 10 for the cup.

It was an experience Alexander said he would never forget.
