SCHOOL: HNCA Colour Walk 2018

The slightly cold weather that morning didn’t cool the enthusiasm.

As a school, Hatfield North Christian Academy (HNCA) does not only focus on providing quality education, but also focuses on family. For this reason, the school continuously opens its doors to bring families together.

So on 2 June the academy family has a great time during the “colour” big walk. The event which was hosted in the Hatfield Christian Church North’s (HCCN) Mission Field, had 500m laps.

An additional excitement to the event was the colour station, where participants would be sprinkled with colourful paints as they walked past.

The slightly cold weather that morning didn’t cool the enthusiasm.

Curves Nina Park, one of the sponsors, launched the event with a warm up session to prepare the bodies for the coming exercise. Among the participants was the 71-year-old old gogo, Nomvula Tibani.

The day blends fitness and social time perfectly, you could notice people sitting and chatting as they enjoyed the braai atmosphere while some continued walking.

Those walking had different objectives some were health and fitness but most children, had their eyes on many prizes that were for grabs that day.

It was a lovely occasion that left a sweet taste especially to winners Ofentse Ramoraka, Olebogeng Moema, Micheal and M’cayla Petrowski, Naledi Sibeko and Kutlwano Ncamani, RT Kolokoto and Lifutso Lebaka.

All winners won lovely prizes sponsored by the many generous companies and families.
