The daughter of a missing Brooklyn woman recently spoke out after her mother had been missing for two days.
Dawn Basdeo (57) was last seen on Friday at her home in Brooklyn.
“We just want to know that my mother is safe,” her daughter, Diane said.

“Our family are trying to spread the message as far as possible.”
Diane said her mother left home around 9:00 to do a fasting blood test at Lancet in the Life Little Company of Mary Hospital, but she never returned home.
“We contacted the hospital, who confirmed that my mother never arrived at the hospital,” she said.
Basdeo was wearing black flat shoes, blue jeans and a white top with a beige jersey.

She was driving a silver grey 2007 Mercedes ML 63 with the registration number VZK 011GP.
Diane said her mother was about 1.55 tall with dark brown eyes and hair.
She said a case was opened at the Brooklyn police station.
The Pink Ladies organisation also spread the message on social media.
Anyone with more information were urged to phone the police.
