SCHOOL: Tyger Valley College: Gr. 3 outreach initiative

The learners donate 10% of the proceeds to the Tshwane Place of Safety for abandoned, abused and neglected babies.

As a part of the Tyger Valley College grade 3 curriculum, the learners host an annual Market day.

The learners donate 10% of the proceeds to the Tshwane Place of Safety for abandoned, abused and neglected babies.

The college outreach group adds to the 10%.

The donation was handed to the home’s Jeanette Birrel to help cover some of the expenses of the organisation.

Lovingly crocheted baby goods were handed over during a visit and the learners played with some of the residents of the home.
