SCHOOL: Lynnwood primary learner makes her mark

The ambassadors get involved in projects that relieve distress in their community.

A Lynnwood Primary School Pretoria learner has made the top 10 in the junior SA Schools Ambassador competition.

The ambassadors get involved in projects that relieve distress in their community and their schools to raise the awareness among the learner community of the importance of charity work.

For this Sumari Terblanche chose Tshwane Haven, which treated babies with medical conditions before they were placed in foster care.

Sumari has already been involved in various fundraisers for the haven.

She was also on radio, Lekker FM 98, talking about her charity work, an experience she described as enriching and “touched my heart”.
