SCHOOL: Maragon Olympus public speaking gala evening

Public speaking is one of the most important and most dreaded forms of communication.

We as a school agree that communication is the backbone of our society. It allows us to form connections, influence decisions, and motivate change.

Without communication skills, the ability to progress in the working world and in life would be nearly impossible.

Public speaking is one of the most important and most dreaded forms of communication and we therefore try to give every learn the opportunity to develop their communication skills. It is compulsory for our students to take part in public speaking in the classroom.

The most skilled have the opportunity to speak in front of parents. Others help with duties such as master of MCing, PowerPoint presentations for introducing the speakers and topics and managing the sound system.

On the night the learners are judged by skilled and professional adjudicators. This is an annual event and a great privilege for our learners.
