SCHOOL: Maragon Olympus boys do well at Blue Bull trials

Later this year they will face off against the Valke and Limpopo Blue Bulls.

Two Maragon Olympus learners have joined the Blue Bulls after a successful trial.

Bokang Moropyane and Alexander Gouws participated in the trial from 5 May to 10 May.

Bokang made the u/12A team while Alexander made the u/13B team. Both will play against the Lions at Loftus Versveld on 25 May.

Later this year they will face off against the Valke and Limpopo Blue Bulls u/12 and 13 teams.

Alexander will attend Craven Week in Kimberley from 1 to 6 July.

Bokang is a talented sportsman who works hard and takes his rugby very seriously that he never misses a practice. He started playing at the age of 5 years and encourages other learners to play their hearts out. His favourite rugby players are Liam Messam from the Chiefs and Handré Pollard from the Bulls.

Alexander is a great flyhalf and a good leader in the backline. He has been playing rugby since the age of 6 and says that it is important for players to enjoy every moment. To set a good example for others is a priority for him. His rugby role models are Malcom Marx from the Lions and Beauden Barret from Hurricanes.
