UPDATE: Unisa to allow walk-ins, claims EFF

Unisa gives in to EFF demands and will allow walk-ins and free late applications from Monday, January 15 onwards.

A student protest at Unisa has led to the university allowing walk-ins, the EFF claimed on Friday.

The student command of the party student leaders and workers halted the registration process at Unisa after accusing university management of not allowing walk-ins.

EFF SC spokesperson Mangaliso Sambo said the university had agreed to its demands that students may register at the university itself without paying any registration fees from Monday, 15 January onwards.
