UPDATE: No arrests in Elarduspark domestic worker murder

The victim was discovered by her employers when they came back home from holiday.

Police have not made any arrests after an Elarduspark domestic worker was murdered.

It is not known when the woman was killed, but she was discovered by her employers on Friday, 22 December when they came home after a week-long holiday.

The victim was stabbed with a sharp object that was discovered at the scene.

It was also alleged that a laptop and tablet were stolen from the house.

“Police are still investigating,” said police spokesperson Captain Ilze Jones.

Jones urged anyone with information to contact the Lyttelton police station on 012 644 8600 or Crime Stop at 08600 10111 or send an anonymous SMS to Crime Line at 32211.
