Thousands made their way to The Jacaranda children’s home‘s light festival, an amazing country concert and Christmas-lights themed display  at the home in the north of Pretoria at the weekend.
Termed the biggest country show in Pretoria by the organisers, the spectacular country themed concert showcased various country legends – young and old – performing to thousands of  fans all in support of the Jacaranda Children’s homes.
Families ensured the memories are preserved, taking a multitude of pictures of their loved ones surrounded by a bright and beautifully designed Christmas lights display along the pathway to the concert spot.
Food and craft to suit all tastes abounded and country music lovers danced to tunes by a star studded line up including legend Lance “Big Daddy” James, Clive Bruce, Tommy Oliver, Jody Wayne, Jason Bradley, Heuning, Azurdee and the Blue river band, the 1925 Band, Bernie Williams, Rinel Day and the Rodeo Girls.
Although sprinkles of rain threatened to put a damper on the event, families took cover under a large tent and continued their merriment.
