A new Afrikaans movie, Seun, opened this week with its premiere held at Nu-Metro Cinema in Menlyn.

A new Afrikaans movie Seun opened this week when its premiere was held at Nu-Metro Cinema in Menlyn.

The event on Thursday night saw actors bringing their families and friends to watch the special screening. A few invited guests joined the occasion.

The film is about a young man who decides to go to the border to protect his country. A war wound caused him to be paralysed. The rest of the story is about his new battle and the impact it has on him and his family.
