A wedding and bridal fair with a difference was held on Saturday at Monte De Dios Equestrian wedding and conference venue in the east of Pretoria.
Wedding and functions manager Enslien Erasmus wanted to host a wedding and bridal fair with a different ‘vibe’. “Our goal was to create a sense of calmness and tranquillity where couples could browse at leisure,” said Erasmus.
Erasmus wanted couples to meet the different suppliers and build personal relationships. She said the plan was to host an annual wedding fair where brides could view wedding gowns, décor, invitation ideas and taste different cakes, wines and food.
Leon and Rochelle Phieffer, owners of the venue, were pleased with the outcome.
The day was filled with food and wine combination tastings and two fashion shows with a variety of wedding dresses on show. Some of the designers who showcased their designs were Theresa Viljoen from Gali, Yian Bronn and Heinrich Greyling.
Suppliers on show were among others TGF productions video and photography, Events and Weddings Décor and Flowers and Sparkle Collector.
