South African musicians rock Firkin

Two South African bands took to the stage at Firkin recently.

Firkin Centurion was the place to be on Friday night, with two amazing bands that ensured that guests were well entertained throughout the evening.

The up-and-coming band, Witkasteel, opened the show for Shaun Jacobs, who has become highly popular among South Africans with songs like Slipping Away, Love Can and End of the Road.

People from across Pretoria came together on this slightly chilly evening and the place was packed to the rafters.

One of the guests, Carina Venter, was especially excited to see Shaun Jacobs perform and had arrived very early with a bunch of friends to make sure that they didn’t miss a thing.

“We love Shaun Jacobs and can’t wait to see him perform tonight,” Venter said.

The show kicked off when Witkasteel took to the stage at 21:15 and Shaun Jacobs took over at around 22:00.
