Money raised for the needy

Hanna Charity seeks to help the needy.

Afrikaans singers Lisa Brönner and Ricus Nel recently brightened up an event at Stonecradle organised by the Hanna Charity Empowerment Foundation to raise money for the needy in different areas of Pretoria.

Foundation CEO Hanna Grobler said the objective was to give personal attention and direct benefits to children and their families for them to live in dignity, and to achieve their potential.

“We also invite people of goodwill to live in daily solidarity with the world’s poor through one-to-one sponsorships. We seek to be able to build communities by fostering relationships of mutual respect and understanding.”

She said the foundation had been registered as a non-profit organisation to continue helping people.

Brönner and Nel said they wanted to be part of the event as they believed wholeheartedly in what the organisation was doing for needy communities.
