Expo caters for needy animals

Hirsch’s Centurion, in partnership with the Centurion Accommodation Association (CAA), hosted a charity event for the SPCA in Tshwane.

According to Linda Levendag from Dragonfly – who worked with Hirsch’s – said this was the third annual expo organised to raise funds. She said this was one way of giving back to the community as exhibitors donated animal food.

“We have invited about 50 exhibitors and all the funds raised will be donated to the SPCA,” said Levendag. CAA chairperson Christel van Heerden said the exhibitors were all suppliers to the guest houses and had an opportunity to also showcase their products.

Crystal McLauchlin shared information on labour-related issues in the hospitality industry and other businesses.
