A colorful Madiba Day at children’s home

Children from the Bramley Children's Home in Groenkloof enjoyed a colourful Madiba Day.

Children from the Bramley Children’s Home in Groenkloof enjoyed a day filled with fun and laughter when Child Welfare Tshwane and several companies and individuals from across Pretoria opened their hearts to them on Mandela Day.

From painting, refurbishing and cleaning the children’s rooms to entertaining and playing soccer with the youngsters, everyone joined hands in making it a day worth remembering.

Bramley’s children can now, to name only a few, enjoy a colourful playground and a beautifully renovated ‘teen zone’ equipped with comfortable couches, a TV with DSTV, internet, a play station, computers and a coffee station.

Some of the companies that set aside a whole day (and not only 67 minutes) to be part of the fun included the Manhattan Hotel, the South African National Defence Force, Just Letting, SA Grain, the Brooklyn Library and Engel & Völkers.
