Toutrek Championships enjoyed by residents
Three championships were held at the Toutrek Gezina on Saturday with three countries taking part in the championships.
Three countries, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe took part in the Tug of War championships from Thursday until Saturday.
On Thursday night was the Masters division where old tug of war members above the age of 35 years compete against each other.
Friday morning the African Development Championships, other countries’ teams and the SAPS team played against the South African Development team. In the championships 8 out of 9 provinces in SA took part in the championships and 5 provinces from Zimbabwe participated. The sport is growing in the world with 151 teams that took part in the Tug of War competition.
