Movi M works the crowd

Upcoming Afro-Jazz artist Movi M, took the Rendezvous Theatre at the State Theatre on Saturday night by storm at the launch of his debut album. The audience were wowed by the the dynamic young performer in the vein of Busi Mhlongo and Jabu Khanyile, who recently caused a stir on SABC2’s Afro Cafe with his unconventional approach and dramatic vocals.

The audience witnessed a performance featuring hip hop artist Zubz, who joined Movi M on stage, performing their popular radio single Mayine. The song is on high rotation on more than 13 radio stations including Ikwekwezi FM, Umhlobo Wenene FM and Ligwalagwala FM. The audience enjoyed the performances and Movi M’s music.
