Take 67 minutes to ‘De-clutter’

As Mandela month continues with good deeds and generous donations to the less fortunate, Choc Childhood Cancer Foundation asks residents to spend their 67 minutes improving the quality of their loved one's lives.

As Mandela month continues with good deeds and generous donations to the less fortunate, Choc Childhood Cancer Foundation asks residents to spend their 67 minutes improving the quality of their loved one’s lives.

Choc is running a ‘De-clutter and donate’ campaign this Mandela month. The request is simple, if you have anything you don’t use anymore but someone else can put it into good use, kindly donate it. It could be books, an ornament, clothing, kitchen items or even toys

‘De-clutter and donate’ could be your good deed in raising money for Choc. You can go further by spending another 67 minutes creating a collection drive, encouraging everyone you know to clean out their closets. All donations money and goods which should be in a reasonable condition can be dropped off at the charity shop, or at Choc’s head office.

As Madiba loved children, donating whatever you can to Choc – in kind or cash – will also continue his legacy of love. Choc is dedicated to helping children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases, providing practical, moral and mental support, right from diagnosis.

If you’re unable to donate anything right now, spend your 67 Mandela minutes browsing through the Choc charity shop, 219 Louis Botha Avenue (Cnr 11th Street), Orange Grove, Johannesburg. What someone else no longer needs may just be something you have been looking for.

Choc head office is situated in 152 Bram Fischer Drive, Randburg. In the case of bulk items and group donations, Choc can collect.
