Sanco, Nyda, members of the community, Virgin Active and former drug addicts followed the late president’s mandate to fight against drug abuse and went to Second Chance Recovery Centre in Mamelodi West, to clean the yard, lay new pavements, paint the walls and do some gardening.

Jacob Sealatso of Sanco said: “The fight against drug abuse is continuing and the drug rehabilitation centre in Mamelodi plays an important role. We thought it might be good to come and assist the centre.

“The centre assist the drug addicts and most importantly it is the only drug rehabilitation centre in Mamelodi,” said Sealetso.

Second Chance was founded by the late Skhumbuzo Jele who passed away three years ago.
