North children treated to wonderland fun
The Wonderpark prescreening is set for 10 March, while the première will take place on 15 March 2019.
Children were treated to fun and games at Wonderpark shopping centre on Saturday.
The wonderland-themed entertainment area served as a prelude to the upcoming Wonderpark movie, set to première later this month.
Centre marketing manager Elizma Mouton said the movie was about a little girl and her mother who create their own fairy-tale place in their imaginations.
“One day the little girl walks into a forest and discover the magical place,” she said.
Mouton explained that although there was no link between the centre’s name and the movie, they decided to create a wonderland to be discovered at Wonderpark shopping centre.
The Wonderpark prescreening is set for 10 March, while the première will take place on 15 March 2019.
“The wonderland will continue for the whole month of March,” Mouton said.
Although the wonderland fun was currently running at the weekend, it will run full-time throughout the March school holidays.
Parents and children can join in the fun at the centre’s food court until 16:00.
