GALLERY: House music fans enjoy one of a kind musical experience

The Ballantine’s True Music Series is an annual project that gives "uncompromising artists" a unique platform to share and visualise music and different music scenes that inspire artists and fans worldwide.

The African Beer Emporium was the place to be for house music fanatics on Friday night for the first ever Ballantine’s True Music series.

The series was presented in partnership with radio host, DJ and producer Kid Fonque, and famed Argentinian-Spanish visual and kinetic street artist Felipe Pantone.

The Ballantine’s True Music Series is an annual project that gives “uncompromising artists” a unique platform to share and visualise music and different music scenes that inspire artists and fans worldwide.

“Pretoria is the home of house music in South Africa, it’s where some of the legends of house were born and raised, we’re happy to be bringing such as unique event to this city first. It’s going to be an exceptional experience to see house music come to life through the artwork that Felipe Pantone will be providing” said Kid Fonque.

The revellers danced to the music while taking videos and selfies, one could see that the music was speaking to their soul.

“I love everything about this event I am a lover of deep house music. I like the artist line-up and the atmosphere,” said a fan Sakhile Majola.

The artists in the lineup, which include AtJazz and Jullian Gomes, FKA Mash and Kid Fonque, will all pair their music to the artwork themes by Felipe Pantone.

They have previously had two amazing events in Cape Town and Johannesburg, as we as Douala and Nairobi.
