Women empowered at Moot senses and sensuality morning

The attendees were wined and dined while listening to the empowering and motivational talks.

Women were connected with their senses and sensuality while sipping on wine during an intimate morning with renowned speakers at Lucit Candle restaurant, in the Moot of Pretoria, on Saturday.
“We just wanted to invite women and appreciate who we are,” said Carol Pretorius, one of the organisers.
The intimate morning was aimed at empowering women and getting them in touch with their inner selves.
“It’s all about being a woman – what we go through, how busy we are and how little time we actually give to ourselves,” she said.

Pretorius added that although the event was held on the first day of spring, it was combined with the celebration of Women’s Month.
“This day is about women,” Pretorius added.
Brendon McMullen, one of the speakers, said the day was aimed at making women look at what made them unique.
“We want to get women in touch and in tune with their personalities and senses.”
McMullen added that it was hoped that the attendees would walk away having their corporate and personal spheres of life re-balanced.

One of the attendees resonated with McMullen’s talk of being empowered and living life to the fullest.
“If you don’t know me you wouldn’t know that I have a tumour on my brain and I only have 23 percent hearing in my remaining ear but here I am, living life to the fullest,” she said.
Other speakers at the event included Lydia Muller and Susan van Eeden.
