It’s every girl’s dream to meet Disney princesses and take photos with them.
This dream came true for some little girls who attended the princess expo at Sorex estate in Centurion on Saturday.
The kids got to meet their favourite princesses, Snow White, Aurora, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Ariel, Cinderella, Belle, Jasmine, Mulan, Nella Princess Knight and Tinker Bell.

“We got local university students to dress up as Disney princesses. We added our own South African princess named princess Tau meaning lion,” said Almarie Maritz one of the founders of the princess expo.
The expo is the brainchild of three friends who have daughters who love dressing up as princesses.
“They just love to dress up and we thought it would be nice for all the kids to meet their favourite Disney princesses.”

Some kids came from as far as North West and Free State.
“We didn’t think there would be so many people as this is our first expo. If we are to organise another expo we promise it would be bigger, better and well-organised,” said Maritz.
Cherise Koekemoer said Elsa was her favourite princess.
“I love her so much and I think her dress is the most beautiful,” she said.
