Instawalk through the CBD

A walk through history with City Property.

City Property held its Instawalk that included sightseeing various attractions in the CBD such as Church Square and Reuben’s place on Saturday morning.

Reuben’s place which is situated in the CBD is named after Reuben Molopyane, a former employee at City Property who worked there for more than 50 years.

As photographers, the elderly and young adults walked through the CBD, they were being informed about City Property’s future development plans for the city.

City Property’s marketing specialist, Lize Nel, said the Instawalk was a success as approximately 100 people had come to join in the walk.

“Today we managed to show people that Pretoria has changed and it is alive. You can come to the city to enjoy the market and the African Beer Emporium opening next year, focusing on selling African cuisine and beer,” Nel said.

The walk organised by 012 Central, is an initiative of City Property that began at 06:30.
Instawalkers also walked through the One on Mutual building near Church Square, which is one of City Property’s buildings set to be opened next year.

“The One on Mutual building that will open in May next year will have a residential area and parking at the top and retail at the bottom,” Nel explained.
