Boermarket takes over Saturday mornings in Tshwane

Pretorians start their Saturdays mornings early at the Boermarket buying fresh produce and hand made crafts

Every Saturday morning, the Boeremarket transforms into a vibrant hub of community spirit, showcasing the best of local talent, artisanal goods, and warm hospitality.

The market was abuzz this past Saturday attracting a diverse crowd of shoppers, families, and dog owners.

Supporting local business was a top priority for many attendees.

Couple, Anton and Riana Jonck said they come to the market every Saturday to support small business and the community.

“We have made it our family tradition to start our Saturday mornings at the market,” they said.

Anton added that he always looks forward to the delicious coffee they sell.

Dog owners, like Cecelia Fourie, brought their furry friends along.

“The market helps socialize my guide dogs-in-training,” she explained.

Families enjoyed the lively atmosphere.

Mercy Jacobs, who was with two of her daughters, said they came to support her husband as he was one of the stallholders.

“We love spending family days here,” said Jacobs.
