Police need help to find Mamelodi man who disappeared on job hunt

The girlfriend asserted that four men arrived to collect her boyfriend, citing job opportunities at a specific mine, but he never returned.

Mamelodi police are still searching for Ripfumelo Dion Manugeni (31) who went missing two months ago.

According to the information they received, Manugeni from Ext 11 in Mamelodi East, was reported missing on July 30 by his girlfriend.

Police said she last saw him as he left in search of a job.

Police spokesperson, Constable Penelope Khulong said the complainant alleged that on July 30 she was with the victim at their place of residence. Four men arrived to pick him up to go look for a job at an unknown mine they were told had available job opportunities.

She further indicated she was not in the know as to which mine it was.

“He informed her that he would come home every two weeks and further left with the four men,” said Khulong.

He has not been back home ever since.

Manugeni was last seen wearing green pants, a white T-shirt, and black Hi-Tech sandals.
