Metro warns of eight-hour water supply interruption in Centurion

Residents are urged to store enough water for household purposes for Wednesday.

Residents in parts of Centurion are scheduled to be without water on Wednesday, October 9, due to essential work metro plumbers have to carry out.

The metro announced in a statement that its plumbers will install an 80mm water meter at Erf 293, Swartkop, 383-JR.

Tshwane metro spokesperson Lindela Mashigo said the planned work is scheduled to take eight hours from 08:00 until 16:00, which will lead to water supply interruptions in the following areas:

– Raslouw Ext 19, 20, 32, 33, 34, and 65

– Celtisdal Ext 33 and 39

“The City of Tshwane sincerely apologises for the inconvenience that may be encountered during this planned water supply interruption,” said Mashigo.

Residents are urged to store enough water for household purposes for this period.
