Medical delivery vehicle robbed in Ga-Rankuwa

Four suspects are still on the run following a delivery van robbery in Ga-Rankuwa.

A medical delivery vehicle was robbed in Ga-Rankuwa Zone 3 making its way to a local pharmacy on the morning of July 9.

Police spokesperson Johan van Dyk said it is alleged that at about 09:30, a medical delivery van was robbed by four suspects.

He said the victim was robbed of some medicine that was intended for delivery.

Van Dyk said the suspects got away in a white vehicle.

“No arrests have been made so far.”

Ga-Rankuwa is one of the highly-rated crime areas in the northern parts of Pretoria.

Anyone with information that may assist the police in finding the suspect is urged to contact the Ga-Rankuwa police station on 012 797 8800.
