Partly cloudy week forecast for Tshwane

Friday will see a slight increase in temperature, with a high reaching 23 °C from a low 20°C.

The weather in Pretoria for Tuesday is forecast to be cloudy and cool with some drizzle, according to the South African weather service (Saws).

Saws forecaster Lethlogonolo Thobela said today’s temperature was expected to reach a minimum of 17° C and maximum of 21° C, with a wind speed of 9km/h.

Thobela predicted that tomorrow (Wednesday) would be partly cloudy and warm, however there was a 30% chance of rain.

“There will be a 30% chance of rainfall with 5mm expected on the day. In addition, the temperature is expected to range from 17° C minimum to a maximum of 22° C.

Thobela said on Thursday, the maximum would be 22° C and the minimum 19° C.

“There’s a 60% rain probability with a wind speed of 9km/h.”

– Wear warm clothes, layers are best including a hat

– If outside, wear boots or shoes

– Make sure you have enough food and medication

– Check the weather forecast regularly

– Consume hot drinks and food regularly
